Indirect Electric Tank Heaters are designed to heat tank contents indirectly without the need to drain the tank for heater replacement. These heaters use open coil heater elements supported by high temperature ceramics. The elements slide inside of a pipe that is welded to the mating flange. The elements are flexible, eliminating the need for special clearances during removal. Availble sizes include 4″ – 36″ Flanges with lengths up to 40′. Materials are selected for each application and include carbon steel, 304SS, 316SS and many nickel based materials.
